Cathy Yasuda has been at Treasure Valley Community College for nearly 20 years, and has seen the college evolve and change over time. Like the college, the Foundation continues to strive for excellence and innovation in providing educational, social, and cultural programs and support for our college students and community.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is meeting and working with our generous donors who continue to support our mission and the students we serve.
Every day we see how we make it possible for a student to pursue their educational dreams through our scholarship program. Our Friends of the Foundation are local businesses, private individuals, large corporations, TVCC faculty, staff, students, alumni and members of the community.
Thanks to all our contributors and donors, the TVCC Foundation continues to grow. We currently have assets that total over $2.5 million with an endowment of nearly $2 million. We have about 90 plus scholarships that students can apply for and we award nearly $150,000 in scholarships each year to deserving students.
A special thank you to the members of the Board who share a passion and desire to give of their time, money and talents to the TVCC Foundation. They are an incredible group of caring and dedicated individuals who lead, guide and support the mission of the Foundation.
If you would like to help make a difference in the lives of our students, please consider a gift to the TVCC Foundation. Help us continue our mission of Changing Lives and Endowing Dreams.
