Albertson Foundation Scholarship: Amounts To Be Determined
· Tuition support for Caldwell Campus students
· First generation to attend college
· Know-How 2 Go for high school students with performance in science and math
· Completion students who have prior college attendance
· Non-traditional student with no prior college attendance

Larry Bean Memorial Scholarship: $150
· Tuition support for an athlete who participated in track at Ontario High School
· Awarded by the Athletic Department

Earl Blackaby Memorial Scholarship: $1,750
· Tuition support for Business Majors
· Must have a 3.0 GPA and enroll as a full-time student
· Recipients demonstrate outstanding character and financial need
· Renewable for a second year

Mary Gail Blackaby Memorial Scholarship: $400
· Tuition support for Business Majors
· Must have a 3.0 GPA and enroll as a full-time student
· Recipients demonstrate outstanding character and financial need
· Renewable for a second year

Dr. & Mrs. Joseph & Clara Ann Burdic Memorial Scholarship: Four @ Varying Amounts
· Must be enrolled in the Women in Transition program
· Recipients must show financial need and academic achievement
· Renewable at the discretion of the WINGS director
· Awarded by WINGS Director

Loretta Cables Scholarship: $900
· High school graduate residing within the TVCC service district
· Based on financial need, academic achievement and outstanding character
· Renewable for second year.

Capps Family Endowed Scholarship: $1,000
· Tuition support for a student from the local Oregon or Idaho area
· Based on financial need and academic achievement
· Renewable for second year

Lowell & Rosemary Cox Scholarship: Four @ $500
· Based on academic potential, community service and financial need
· Must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be enrolled for 12 credit hours
· Renewable for second year

Crosby Family Scholarship: $400
· Criteria To Be Determined

Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation Scholarship: 25 @ $3,000 each
· Must be a student from Idaho
· Based on academic achievement
· Maintain a 3.0 GPA
· Be enrolled for 12 credit hours
· Financial need and good personality
· Renewable for a second year

Opal Curry Dean Memorial Scholarship: To be Determined
· Non-traditional student (usually returning to education following an absence
· Must study academic curriculum in education, preferably elementary education

Hilda D. Elliott Memorial Scholarship: Five @ $2,200
· Tuition support for students majoring in Business, Accounting or Nursing

Epionce Sports Medicine Scholarship: To be Determined
· Tuition support for incoming freshman (not necessarily right out of high school) majoring in athletic training
· Must be from the Western Treasure Valley
· Must have a 3.0 GPA

James & Harriett Flanagan Memorial Scholarship: $3,050
· Tuition support for TVCC second year nursing students
· Must agree to stay in the community and serve as a nurse for a period of two years following graduation.  A signed agreement will be required of the recipient.  The community is defined as Ontario, Payette, Fruitland, Nyssa, Vale or Weiser
· Scholarship recipients will be selected by a scholarship selection committee representing the TVCC nursing faculty, nursing department chair, a practicing graduate of the program and a representative from the Medical Staff

Ralph and Jean Fountain Memorial Scholarship: Two @ $2,400
· Non-traditional students of Malheur and Baker counties
· Renewable for a second year

Louis Gasca Memorial Scholarship: $200
· Returning student as a sophomore after successfully completing one year at TVCC and working toward an Associate of Arts/Science degree
· Achieving academic excellence by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and receiving the recommend-dation of the department chairs

James Gerke Honorary Scholarship: Two @ $900
· Student from the local Oregon or Idaho area, (family's preference is Idaho area)
· Majoring in Criminal Justice or other law enforcement related program
· Based on academic achievement, financial need and community service
· Renewable for second year as long as cumulative 2.5 GPA is maintained

John & Betty Gray Early Childhood Eductation Scholarship: Amounts Vary
· Tuition support for students studying Early Childhood Education selected by committee

Andrew "Bud" Greeley Natural Resources Scholarship: To Be Determined
·  Malheur County student for two years prior going into a major field in soil conservation or related agricultural or natural resources discipline such as agronomy, rangeland resources, rangeland ecology,geology, crop management, fish & wildlife, forestry, agricultural education or agricultural engineering
· Maintain a 3.2 GPA
· Must submit current transcripts, scholarship application, two completed recommendations/reference forms from current or former instructors and provide an essay entitled "Overview of My Future Intentions"

Loran H. Halcom Memorial Scholarship: $400
· Student from the local Oregon or Idaho area
· Based on academic achievement and financial need

Frank & Betty Harano Memorial Scholarship
· Awarded preferences shall be given to students who intend to pursue a career in photography based on financial need & academic achievement.

E.M. "Curly” and Clara Hauser Scholarship: $575
· Graduate from a Malheur County high school with a solid track record in Malheur County 4H or Future Farmers of America
· Cumulative high school GPA of 3.0
· Register for full-time course load and for lower-division transfer curriculum or a professional technical degree program
· Renewable as long as 3.0 cumulative GPA is maintained
· Awarded by the Ag. Department

Heart 'n Home Hospice Scholarship: Total of $3,000
· Second year Nursing student from the hospice service area
· Must show promise or completing Nursing program
· Financial need

Deputy Ted Hesse Memorial Scholarship: Total of $1,200
· Must be from Malheur County
· Must pursue a career in Criminal Justice, Emergency Medical Services or Fire Science
· Cumulative 3.0 GPA

Harold & Mika Hiuga Scholarship: Amount to be Determined
· Students with diverse cultural background
· Financial need
· Academic achievement

Linda Huff Memorial Scholarship: $400
· First year, female, full time high school graduate, Law Enforcement student
· Minimum of 3.0 GPA

Idaho Master Naturalist Scholarship: To be Determined
· Must be a TVCC Natural Resource major that is also pursuing the Idaho Master Naturalist Certification
· Excellent academic record with preference given to a student maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA
· Show a commitment to volunteerism in the Natural Resources field
· Awarded by the Natural Resource Department and Idaho Master Naturalist Coordinator

Idaho Power Company Scholarship: Four at $750
· Tuition support with emphasis on minority students
· Financial need

Instrumental Music Scholarship: $300
· Music major awarded by the Music Department
· Financial need
· Academic achievement

International Business Education Studies Tour Scholarship: Separate Application Required
· Must be at least a half-time student throughout the academic year in which the travel occurs and be in good standing
· Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
· Open to students of all majors, but preference will be given to Business majors
· Must demonstrate financial need
· Must present a written statement explaining why you want to travel, and what you expect to gain from the experience
· Must present two letters of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor, or administrator

Gertrude Johnson Memorial Scholarship: Two @ $1,850
· Academic achievement and community service.
· Renewable for a second year

William Kaatz Scholarship: $500
· Financial need
· Academic achievement

Barbara Emily Knudson Scholarship: $2,500
· Must be an Oregon resident and a full time student.
. May be one of the following:
   Non-traditional,
   Low income,
   Displaced worker,
   Single parent, and/or
   1st generation student to attend college.

Ron Mallea Memorial Scholarship: Varying amounts
· Major in Criminal Justice
· Full-time student (12 credits or more)
· Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
· Awarded by Ontario retired Chief of Police

Ed Manker Scholarship: Varying Amounts
· Student athlete (baseball), based on character
· Awarded by the Athletic Department

Joe & Betty Marquina and Dyer & Sadie Bennett Scholarship: Two @ $1,250
· Malheur County high school graduate
· Must have educational and career goals with the potential to succeed at the college level
· Financial need
· Renewable for a second year

George and Nellie Matsuura Scholarship: $1,500
· TVCC music major
· Selection will be based on financial need, academic achievement
· Awarded by the Music Department

Fruitland Chamber of Commerce Bob McKinney Memorial Scholarship: Full Tuition
· (Must complete application & return to high school counselors office with two educational or community letters of recommendation. Complete a brief autobiography describing what qualities & activities qualify you for the scholarship.  Describe areas of special interest that can be enhanced by attending TVCC.)
· Must be planning to enroll full time at TVCC
· Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to qualify for scholarship award, and continue to attend full time and maintain a 2.0 GPA

Catherine Mezzano Memorial Scholarship: $1,250
· Student with academic potential and financial need
· Renewable for a second year

Miller Foundation Scholarship: $1,000 for Several Students
· Can be a part time (at least 6 credits) or full time student
· Must complete a FAFSA
· Must be the first generation to attend college or a non-traditional student
· Must provide at least 10% of their financial need (this is checked through Financial Aid EFC)
· Renewable for a second year

Sig and Mitsuko Murakami Scholarship: $2,100
· Student from an agricultural family with demonstration of family’s own support towards the educational goals of the student
· Renewable for a second year

Russell Myrick Memorial Scholarship: $450
· Graduate from Nyssa or Ontario High School, and is considered an “at risk” student
· Must complete high school & demonstrate necessary skills & dedication to succeed on a college level
· Financial need and involvement in athletics
· Not Renewable

Natural Resource Scholarship: To be Determined
· Must be a TVCC Natural Resource major
· Excellent academic record with preference given to a student maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA
· Superior character and Financial need
· Awarded by the Natural Resource Department and Advisory Board

Richard B. Nelson Memorial Scholarship: $975
· Student from the local Idaho area; preference given to students from Weiser
· Based on academic potential, financial need and community service.  Renewable for a second year

Elmer & Peggy Newton Memorial Scholarship: $700
· (Nursing Dept. Application required)
· "Second" year nursing student from local Oregon and Idaho community (defined as Ontario, Payette, Fruitland, Nyssa, Vale or Weiser)
· Awarded by nursing department
· Recipient must agree to work as a registered nurse one year in the community following graduation.
· Not renewable

Shizuo & Frances Nishimura Scholarship: $2,000
· Second year student who has completed his/her first year at TVCC successfully
· Must have clear educational and career goals with the potential to succeed at the college level with the intent to further his/her education after graduating from TVCC
· Must be from the local Oregon or Idaho area (Ontario, Nyssa, Vale, Payette, Fruitland, or Weiser)
· Nyssa Volunteer Fire Department Scholarship: $1,000
· Student from the local Oregon area with preference to a student from Nyssa
· May be a recent high school graduate or non-traditional student
· Financial need
· Academic achievement
· Not Renewable

Sgt. John Ogburn III Memorial Scholarship: Two @ $475
· Tuition support for one male and one female student from the Malheur, Payette or Washington County
· Must have a 3.0 GPA
· Financial need and achievement in extra-curricular activities and community service

Ontario Airfare Scholarship: $1,000
· Must be planning to enroll full time at TVCC
· Have a minimum GPA of 2.0

Ontario Kiwanis Club Scholarship: $1,000
· Ontario High School graduate
· Must have been a member of the OHS Leadership Class
· Community Involvement
· Student Academic Record
· Financial Need

Ontario Lions Club Dual Enrollment Scholarship: Amount To be Determined
· Ontario High School Junior or Senior
· Enrollment in TVCC COL-CRED or Dual Enrollment Classes
· Financial need of the student

Ontario Optimist Club Scholarship: $500
· Sophomore athlete who has successfully completed their freshman year at TVCC
· Must have graduated from a high school within the TVCC taxing district
· Must maintain a 3.0 college GPA

Ontario Women’s Club Endowment: Two @ $2,000
· Students majoring in the following disciplines:  Business, Literature, Music, Agriculture, Nursing, Social Science, Drama and Art
· Awarded in order of discipline shown

Oregon Association Chiefs of Police Scholarship: $1,000
· Awarded by the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police

Oregon Sheriffs Association Scholarship: Varying amounts
· Major in Criminal Justice
· full-time student (12 credits or more)
· Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
· Awarded by Ontario retired Chief of Police

P.E.O Chapter AF Scholarship: $600
· Graduate from local Oregon or Idaho high school
· Sufficient academic achievement
· Registered as a full-time student
· Female, incoming freshman
· Good character, community involvement, and financial need
· Awarded by the AF PEO Chapter
· May be renewable

P.E.O. Chapter EB "Fritz" Mowrer Memorial Scholarship: $500
· Awarded to a female student that graduated from a Malheur County high school and  has completed her first year at TVCC and will be attending a second-year
· Must be planning to transfer to a four-year college to complete their education

P.E.O. Chapter K Mildred Wood Memorial Scholarship: $1,000
· Tuition support awarded to female non-traditional  student who is a resident of the region or Idaho area
· Based on financial need

Harry L. Peterson Scholarship: $900
· TVCC athlete recommended by athletic director

Pheasants Forever Natural Resource Scholarship: To be Determined
· Must be a TVCC Natural Resource major pursuing a career in wildlife or habitat management
· Excellent academic record with preference given to a student maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA
· Awarded by the Pheasants Forever Board.  May require service hours to Pheasants Forever-Malheur County Chapter.

Betty Lou Powers Scholarship: $500
· Student majoring in music recommended by the Music Department
· Must have clear educational and career goals with the potential to succeed at the college level
· Renewable for a second year as long as the student is making sufficient academic progress
· Must maintain 2.5 GPA

Tip Powers Scholarship: $500
· Student majoring in business
· Must have clear educational and career goals with the potential to succeed at the college level
· Renewable for a second year as long as the student is making sufficient academic progress

Rodeo Scholarship: Varying Amounts
· Awarded to a student participating in Rodeo
· Awarded by the Rodeo Department

Rotary Club of the Western Treasure Valley Scholarship: Amounts to be Determined
· Several awards for current year graduating high school seniors and single parents from Malheur, Payette and/or Washington Counties
· Community involvement & financial need
· Application was received by the filing due date and was complete
· Awarded by the Scholarship Committee of the Western Treasure Valley Rotary Club

Wayne Takami Memorial Scholarship: $500
· Fine or Applied Arts major awarded by Art Department & screening committee
· Demonstrates financial need
· Must have completed three terms @ TVCC and 3.0 GPA was maintained
· Portfolio of ortiginal work is required for screening committee
· Not renewable for second year

Dr. Benjamin & Mrs. Michiye Tanaka Scholarship: $1,200
· Tuition support for student with financial need
· Renewable for second year

Dr. Robert Thornfeldt “20” Memorial Scholarship: $2,250
· (Nursing Dept. Application Required)
· TVCC second year Nursing student
· Financial need
· Graduated from high school in either Baker, Canyon, Malheur, Payette, or Washington Counties
· Recipient must agree to work in the community as a RN for one year after graduation
· Awarded by the Nursing Department & Thornfeldt family

Karen Tipton Memorial Scholarship: $2,400
· Non-traditional student, with preference given to a female student

· Awards for entering Freshman students with minimum high school GPA of 2.0. who attended high school in Malheur, Grant or Harney County.
· Must be civic minded and be involved in community with a financial need.

Valley Family Health Care Foundation Scholarship in Memory of Linda Morgan: To be Determined
· Nursing Department Application Required)
· Student accepted into the Nursing program with a financial need.
· Must be a resident of Malheur, Payette, Gem or Washington Counties and show promise of completing the Nursing program and a subsequent successful Nursing career.

William Van Atta Memorial Scholarship: To be Determined
· Non-Traditional student from Malheur County with demonstrated potential and financial need.

Veteran Advocates of Ore-Ida Scholarship: To be Determined
· Separate application to Veteran Advocates Required)
· Dependent child age 25 and under (as of December 1, 2009) and/or all spouses of Active Duty Military, National Guard and US Military Veterans honorably discharged .
· Must reside in Malheur or Baker counties in Oregon, or Washington, Payette or Canyon counties in Idaho.

Kango & Nobue Wada Scholarship: To be Determined
· Tuition support for TVCC students.
· Renewable for second year.

Drex and Irene Williams Scholarship: To be Determined
· Award for a student from the rural Malheur or Harney counties with preference given to students from the Juntura or the Drewsey-Pine Creek School Districts.
· Must have at least a 3.0 average to qualify for award.

Winn/Grimaldo Legacy Scholarship: To be Determined
· Criteria to be determined

Ben & Laurine Wrenn Memorial Scholarship: To be Determined
· TVCC graduating Sophomore who is transferring to a four-year program.
· High academic achievement and be of good character.
