Private Pesticide Applicator's Core Training
This workshop will review (a) current federal and state laws (b) pesticide labeling (c) methods of pesticide application, equipment use, calibration, and clean up  (d) safety equipment in pesticide application (e) proper handling, transportation, storage and disposal of pesticides and containers (f) toxicity of pesticides to humans and other life forms (g) protecting farm workers and the public from pesticide exposure (h) and the endangered species act.


Private Pesticide Training Examination Preparation
This workshop will prepare individuals to take the State of Oregon pesticide examination.  Individuals can make arrangements to take the examination at the Center for Developmental Education at Treasure Valley Community College. To schedule a testing date and time call the center at 541-881-5798.
