Students
TVCC serves over 7,000 students annually. Most of the students are from Oregon or the neighboring Idaho communities. Of the total student population, about 50% are female and 50% male.

Because TVCC is a small college, the emphasis is on the individual. Faculty involvement, small classes, student activities, and individualized instruction and counseling contribute to a pleasant academic and social atmosphere.

Faculty
The faculty at TVCC is made up of 50 full-time instructors and numerous part-time instructors. With few exceptions, those who teach within the Transfer Division and most who teach in the Professional Technical Division hold a master’s degree or higher. The college provides incentives for continuing professional improvement.

In addition to their teaching duties, faculty members serve as advisors to help students plan their educational programs. Many faculty members also donate several hours per week to assist in student activities, clubs, and special events.

TVCC employs a number of part-time instructors who serve in nearly every area of the college’s operation and are an integral part of the school’s success.
